- Admissions FAQ
- How do I apply?
- You can apply either online, which is our preferred method of accepting applications, or you can request to have a paper version of the application emailed to you.
- How can I check the status of my application?
- The easiest way to check your application status online is through your MyUNH/Blackboard account access.
- If I apply to a program offered at the Manchester Campus, can I switch over to a Durham program and vice-versa?
- Yes. To make this change, submit a change of degree request to the UNH Graduate School - provided the program is offered on the campus and there is space available, the request will be forwarded to your department for review.
- Financial FAQ
- Is financial aid aid available?
- Financial aid is available in the form of Stafford Loans. Students should check with their department of interest with questions about scholarships and assistantships. For more information on financial aid, contact the UNH Financial Aid Office at 603-862-3600 or visit: http://financialaid.unh.edu.
- Who do I call if I have questions about financial aid?
- Financial aid support for graduate students is available through the UNH Durham Financial Aid Office. If students have questions about their financial aid package, loan disbursement date, or need more information on the status of a loan, they should contact the Durham office at 603-862-3600, identify themself as a "Manchester Graduate Student", and schedule a phone appointment with Maris Madden - the graduate student contact.
- Student FAQ
- If I am in a Durham degree program can I take courses over in Manchester? If I am a Manchester student can I take courses in Durham?
- Course registration restrictions vary by department. In general you can take courses at either campus but you may need permission to do so. Please check with your department or contact us directly.
- I am a Manchester student. What rules and regulations do I fall under for degree and graduation requirements?
- Regardless of location, all graduate students follow the academic requirements and policies of the UNH Graduate School (located on the Durham campus). Students are also responsible for abiding by any regulations relative to the campus that they are attending. Please contact our office with any questions.
- Graduation FAQ
- I am graduating this semester - which ceremony can I participate in?
- As a student in a Manchester program you have the option of participating in either the UNHM or the UNH Durham ceremony. Be sure to file your intent to graduate form online by the posted deadline. Visit the Mancehster website for more information on the Manchester ceremony.
- When do the forms need to be submitted?
- By the deadlines specified by the UNH graduate school calendar.
- General FAQ
- Since I am in a Manchester degree program do I still need to register every semester?
- Yes. Unless a leave of absence is granted, graduate students are required to maintain continuous enrollment each semester of the academic year until their degree is formally awarded by registering for course credits, research, or continuing enrollment (GRAD 800). The exception is if you are admitted to the summer only MST degree program; then you must be registered every summer.
- Do I pay tuition rates for UNH or UNHM?
- Students pay the tuition rate of the campus in which a course is being taken. If you take courses at both campuses then your tuition charges may vary depending upon the location of course. Visit the Manchester website for the current tuition and fee schedule.
