When submitting an application (whether by paper or online) you must collect all required documents yourself and then submit them to our office as one complete package.
Online Application: Did you pay the $60 application fee by credit card after you submitted your online application? If you did not pay at that time you can use our online payment form or send a check payable to University of New Hampshire and drawn on a US Bank) Paper Application: Did you send a check with the application? If not you can pay online using the online payment form. Online application: Did you completely fill out the online application and hit the Application is Complete button? (You would have then been asked to pay the application fee online) Paper Application: Please fill out and send in both copies of the application that are included in the packet. Did you request the three recommendations, using the forms from our website's forms page? Instruct the referee to seal the envelope and sign across the seal before returning the recommendation to you. Enclose the three sealed recommendations with your completed application packet. Xeroxed, faxed, or emailed letters are not acceptable nor are letters from relatives. Placement credentials over three years old may be accepted as one letter of recommendation. Paper Applicants: Please use the 3 recommendation forms and envelopes that are included with the paper application packet. Have you requested that two official transcripts from each college/university attended for at least one year be sent to you? Please enclose the transcripts in your application packet, keeping them in their sealed envelopes. If you attended UNH you still need to request and obtain two official transcripts from the Registrar's Office to include in your packet. Did you request that official test scores, if required, be sent directly to the Graduate School by the testing service? Photocopied, faxed, emailed, or student copies of scores are NOT acceptable. Test scores more than five years old may also not be acceptable. Did you submit the Personal Statements/Essays online when you applied? If not be sure to mail us a paper copy with your other supplemental application materials. Paper Applicants: Be sure to send us your typed personal statement with your application. Have you contacted the program you are applying to in order to see if there are additional materials required? Some departments require additional documents above and beyond what we require. (Department contact information can be found on our Programs of Study page.) Have you submitted, if applicable, the Statement of Residence Form (New Hampshire residents only) with your application? If you are an international applicant be sure to submit your Financial Declaration Form?
