Survey
Please help us to improve our website further by
completing this
brief survey. Your feedback is very important to us and
will help all of our users get the most out of our website. Only
by understanding the needs of our users can we design a site to best
serve their needs.
Credits
Currently the website is designed, created, managed and
updated by the webmaster, Jonathan Adams with assistance from Jeff Baker and Laurie
Witham. The layout and design is driven by the
UNH web design
policies. Our office incorporates the basic UNH design into our website, giving
us a unified appearance with other University sites. While
most of the code on this website was done in house there is one piece of code being used that is freeware. That
is the code used
for our menu system, which is the "FreeStyle" Menu v1.0RC by Angus
Turnbull whose website is at
http://www.twinhelix.com. Associated Web
Sites
Falling under our primary website are five other
websites that we either administer or help administer:
Preparing Future
Faculty (PFF): Administered by the deans office of the Graduate
School, this site hosts information
for the PFF program at UNH.
Center for Graduate and
Professional Studies: While this associated web site is administered
by our office, it is maintained and updated by the staff at our Center
in Manchester and contains information about
our graduate programs offered through UNHM.
Diversity at UNH: Administered by the UNH Graduate School and our
Recruitment Officer, Dovev Levine, this site is a sub site that has its
focus on graduate diversity at UNH.
NEAGEP at UNH
As part of the
Northeast
Alliance for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (NEAGEP) is
one of 26 NSF-funded Alliances for Graduate Education and the
Professoriate (AGEP) program in the US. As part of the alliance,
the UNH Graduate School hosts a website (and maintains) for the NEAGEP
program at UNH.
International Website: Administered by the UNH Graduate School and our
Recruitment Officer, Dovev Levine, this site is a sub site that has its
focus on International Applicants and Students at UNH.
UNH Cornucopia Food Pantry:
While not directly associated with the Graduate School, our office helps
manage
and maintain this charity organization website on their behalf as part
of our service to the UNH community.
Affiliated
Offices
We have a number of affiliated offices associated with
the UNH Graduate School, some of the sites we manage (the ones listed above)
and some are maintained by the actual office involved:
Center for Graduate and
Professional Studies: While this associated web site is administered
by our office, it is maintained and updated by the staff at our Center
in Manchester and contains information about
our graduate programs offered through UNHM.
CEO Forum: The
CEO Forum, established in 1997, is an outreach program of the Whittemore
School of Business and Economics and the Graduate & Professional
Development Center created to serve CEOs, presidents and senior managers
of companies in northern New England. The Forum provides its members
with opportunities to meet and exchange ideas with their peers in
business and industry in an informal setting. Beginning with networking
time, along with a full breakfast, the meeting features a presentation
by a corporate leader on a topic of current interest to the members.
Family
Business: The family in business together faces many challenges. The
demands of a successful business often affect family life, and family
concerns frequently have an impact on the life of the business.
Additionally, the economic climate produces many problems unique to the
smaller family firm. The Mission of the University of New
Hampshire's Center for Family Business is to assist the entrepreneurial
family in finding solutions to its unique business challenges and
concerns.
Preparing Future
Faculty (PFF): Administered by the deans office of the Graduate
School, this site hosts information
for the Preparing Future Faculty (PFF) program at UNH.
Professional Development and Training: UNH Continuing Education has
as its primary mission to provide academic, professional and personal
development credit and noncredit courses and programs to adults in NH
and surrounding areas. During the summer, UNH Continuing Education also
administers and oversees the UNH Summer Session. UNH Continuing
Education offers courses in three locations: the Durham campus, the UNH
Professional Development & Training Center at Pease, and at
UNH-Manchester.
