The Annual GRC will be held on April 16-17, 2012

The Graduate Research Conference is a two day event featuring research topics from a variety of graduate programs on the University of New Hampshire Durham’s campus.   The GRC is an opportunity for students, faculty members, and the UNH community to learn about research from different colleges and departments and develop new ideas across disciplines.

Welcome to the Graduate Research Conference

The University of New Hampshire would like to invite you to experience a wide array of events, activities, and showcases at the Graduate Research Conference. All events are free and open to the public.  Many graduate students begin their life's research at UNH - research that contributes to all of our well being. The Graduate Research Conference (GRC) is a yearly event that lets our graduate students share their research with the entire UNH campus.

Students and faculty are encouraged to attend as many oral and presentations as possible. Over the past few years, the GRC has grown into a significant campus event. This year's GRC is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet! There are more than 120 Graduate and Ph.D. students eager to share their research with the UNH community. Join us to learn about everything from the effect of feeding frequency on an invasive sea anemone to the preparation of semiconducting nanoparticles to taverns and their roles in 18th Century New Hampshire society. Come experience the fruits of your fellow student's hard work and gain valuable insights into conducting effective research. The GRC will kick off Graduate Appreciation Week with events ranging from free lunch and breakfast to an after-hours social..

The GRC is open to any graduate student at the University of New Hampshire who would like to present research in either poster or oral form. Special considerations are made for those students who have received travel grants from the University of New Hampshire Graduate School since June 1, 2011. These students are required to present their research in some form during the GRC.

Students are encouraged to inquire with their department or college regarding other talks, seminars, presentations, or colloquia that may be planned in conjunction with the GRC. If a department would like to schedule an event to coincide with the GRC we encourage them to contact us.
