Business Administration (MBA) Business Administration Students ideally take two classes per term and complete the program in two years. The program can also be tailored to the student's job requirements, giving the student up to six years to complete the program. Classes are offered from 5:30 pm to 9:15 pm one evening per week for ten weeks and each academic year begins with a residency session that meets two nights per week for four weeks. Some courses may be taught using distance technology. Each class is chosen to reflect a diverse mix of students from industry and functional backgrounds. The curriculum is designed to build a base for understanding and analytical competence. The curriculum includes 13 required courses and 3 electives. The required courses are divided into skill, functional, and policy courses with the skill courses early in the program. Students may take a maximum of three electives outside the department with approval from the MBA program office The GMAT is the required test for admission to the program. The application deadline for the fall is July 1 and November 15 is the application deadline for the winter term. Applicants are expected to have successfully completed one semester of calculus or have demonstrated proficiency in quantitative reasoning.
