specific application to tourism attractions and facilities.
Provides an understanding of market research, consumer
attitudes and behavior, market segmentation, product
pricing, and quality control. Differentiates between
advertising, promotion, and public relations. Prereq: survey

Solving applied economic problems using linear and nonlinear
techniques with emphasis on problem specification and
interpretation of model results. The unit of analysis
includes individuals, firms, or communities as they address
contemporary problems in resource allocation, product
distribution, and whole-firm organization. Computer
applications on both mainframe and personal computers
used for managerial decision making. Prereq: permission.
