Note: A few of the fields in this form are required.   Please be sure to provide your name, a full mailing address, a TOEFL score and test date, a GRE or GMAT test date and scores, your prior (or current) degree programs and the program you are interested in along with the year you wish to apply for.

Note: If you are submitting a preapplication and the department does not require a TEST Score please indicate this on the preapplication under the test score section by writing "DEPT NOT REQUIRE"

International Preapplication Form
(Request for Full Application)

The University of New Hampshire requires a detailed application for admission which must be accompanied by records and documents that may be expensive or difficult for you to obtain or duplicate. To protect yourself from wasting time and money applying to a program at the University which cannot receive you--because we do not offer the course you desire, because the enrollment is already full, because deadline for applications has passed, or because your academic preparation, financial resources or other qualifications are not suitable for the program of study you have indicated--you should fill out the form below to request application material.

Your request will be carefully reviewed and we will either send you an email with instructions for filing your application, or we will email you explaining that it does not seem practical for you to apply for the program you have indicated. Depending on the time of year this can take from as short as a week to as long as 4-8 weeks.  You should get an initial reply about your preapplication within 10 days.  Applications from International applicants will be considered only for the Fall Term (which normally begins in early September) and must be completed by April 1st to ensure consideration.

Please Note: If your preapplication is approved it is NOT a guarantee of getting accepted into the program.  Approval of a preapplication only indicates that you have a CHANCE of getting admitted and therefore it might be worth your time and money to apply as a full applicant.

If you have PREVIOUSLY Applied for a Preapplication and wish to check the status of your preapplication please search our database or contact our office before submitting another preapplication.  Duplicate preapplications will be deleted.

Attention MS/PhD Physics Preapplicants - The Physics department has different questions required of their Preapplicants and request that you email them directly for information instead of submitting this form. You can email them at:
